Hi LA Blue,
It's ages since I've been on Rootschat, and have only just seen your post.
Although I can't help with your names, my Blues were born and married in Kilberry and Kilcalmonell. Dugald Blue married Mary Bell in 1821 and his children were Margaret, born 1823, Archibald 1825, John 1827, Colin 1829 and Christian (female) 1831. Anything familiar there?
Dugald's father was Donald, no details known.
Blueth

Nothing yet.  I must devote some more time to this.  There are so many people called the same name and you can't be sure you have the right one.  There seems to have been a few Christina/ Christy about Kilcalmonell.  Just when I think I'm getting somewhere with my Whitehouse family, I hit another brick wall e.g. the death certificate won't state the parents' names

After having kept that weekend free for months I am so disappointed to have missed the meet through some health problems.  Glad to hear it went well and you all had a great time (that means there might be another one in the future and hopefully I'll  make that one)

If my OH comes she will tell you all about bed recesses from personal experience.  They are not that long in the past.

JULIAN

That's what I was going to say - can remember them well.
I wouldn't rate the tearooms either.
I haven't actually been to the tenement but always wanted to.

I have a biscuit barrel from my ggrandmother.  It's quite small and neat.  It wouldn't have kept my lot going for long !  I use it for teabags.  I know I'm running  a risk of it getting broken but it just feels right to use it.

Yes I realise that but the url gives additional information of where worship took place  before then.  Hope it gives you a lead anyway
