Hello Tom,

My name is Lynne and I am writing for my friend Enid nee Leech .  She has been doing the family history on her Leech/Forster tree for 25 years.  In Langolm  and Salford and Whitchurch and Manchester.
Her GGM was Catherine Irvine Forster married to George Leech and  they had the Hotel in Manchester/Salford.

She would like to be in touch with you but unfortunately hasn`t access to the Internet.  I would pass on a message to her or you could perhaps phone her??

Let me know,

All good wishes Lynne.

So Many thanks Valda for all your work. I am delighted with all the information.  My BT line has been down for ten days that is why I couldn`t reply.  It is great to be back and find your message,  I will be busy researching, and let you know  any results.  Thanks again. Halifax.

Thank-you Valda for that information.  I will try to trace  the will.
John Howe  was a Parliamentary Agent in the 1850`s and  then as a Gentleman on other records.  He was my 2x Great Grandfather.
Another question ---it says on the census born at sea about 1791.

I saw you can trace  births at sea from the 1850`s but is it impossible so early?

Many Thanks again Halifax.

Please can anyone help to find a Jane Howe married name Key born on the 20th April 1841 in Camberwell.  Father John Howe mother Jane Batchelor.  I can find her christening in Woolwich at St Mary Magdalene  but no birth certificate.

She married Keeling Key and is on the census until 1881 then nothing.  Keeling died in 1886.  There was a son John Keeling key.

Many thanks Halifax
