hi, zin, I visited Hill Crest hospital several times.Iwas in my 20's then, and visited an aunt. It was an awful place and i felt the patients were treated like animals. My aunt was almost force fed.It was a good thing when they closed it.

Don't know whether this is of any help. I was at school in 50s with peggy eales. Parents used to keep Eagle pub in Charles st,Leicester. MERCURY GAVE AN ACCOUNT OF THIS FAMILY ONLY 3 WEEKS AGO. You could perhaps ask them--MERCURY OFFICES , ST. Georges way,Leics.

hi, Ihave just returned from all xmas and newyear celebrations in different parts of the country, hence the late reply to your post.
Nothing at all to do with your ancestry, but my mother actually sang with Carol levis on the palace theatre under name of EveLynn your post brought back many memories.
