Ah OK, she was born in 1938, so it can't be her, but had a connection with the area and it's a very unusual name, even for that time.

Hi, I think my Grandma lived at Moor Hall in the 50s, she would have been aged 14-15 at the time. On the electorol roll it's dated as her residing there between 1952-1962. I wonder if it was a boarding school, hotel or training college etc due to her age. Any information on Moor hall in the 50s would be greatly appreciated as I'm sure its my grandma listed as residing there on the records but not 100%. Sure Thanks Julian

Hi, I think my grandma may have been at Moor Hall too in the 50s, her name was Doris Lacey, and if it was her she would have been there from aged 14-15. The dates are registered in the electorol roll as her living there between 1952-1962. I wonder if it was a boarding school or training college or hotel at the time. Any information would be helpful as I'm sure its her.
