Hi!
I know I am a bit late to this forum but I am a direct descendant of Clement ‘Charles’ Hamilton Vaughan and Mary Alice through the following line:
1. Charles Hamilton Vaughan and Mary Alice (resided in Richmond Qld)
2. Their daughter, Isabella May Vaughan married Owen Gelndowner Hughes
3. Their daughter, Janet Alice Isabel Hughes married Joseph Edward Gaffney. Janet died from scarlet fever at 27 years old. They had two children, Norma Alice Isobel Gaffney (my grandmother) and Alan ‘Joe’ Joseph Gaffney. Family settled in Bundaberg where Joeseph Edward remarried.
3. My grandmother, Norma, married twice. Her first husband committed bigomy by marrying two women and was sent to prison. She had one son, Keith Langston with her first husband and then filed for divorce. She then married Thomas Broom and had two further children, Ian and Petrina Ann (my mother). They settled in Ipswich qld.
4. Petrina Ann Broom married Roderick Arthur Robertson. Two daughter, Jessica Lee-Ann Robertson and Emma Lorelle Robertson (me)
