Calvin, if you are still around on here, our trees may link up a little, as Robert Everson is the furthest back my tree goes, married Ann Tricker and their 4th (maybe 5th) child was Elizabeth, born September 1957.
Notes I have from my Uncle who kept Family Tree records is that all of Robert and Ann's children were "baptised, married or buried in Bentley".

Yes, the notes that I have are that "all of their children were baptised, married or buried in Bentley", but checking and verifying any of that, let alone trying to work back prior to Robert (which would be amazing) is going to be quite a task.
Will take a trip to Bentley to see if I can find any gravestones. Only a small place, so I'm hoping that an old graveyard can throw up something.

I'm fairly new to trying to expand on what we have already, which is essentially a handwritten family tree that was passed down through the generations. The belief was that prior to the family being in Suffolk, we went back to Lancastrian stock, but that is only what has been said, I've nothing prior to Robert (1728). But if that is the case, and we had family that did "move" around the country, then the 60 miles to Ramsey really is very little, and en route from where the family chatter had us originally.
Just starting to look into finding, or tracking down certificates to back up my line back to Robert now. Just picked up on your post, because the name link was relatively close in terms of dates, and the journey from Lancashire to Suffolk.
If I come across anything linking us to Ramsey, I'll let you know.

I can possibly go down the Everson route a little here, if you get as far as Robert Everson (b 1728) as he is the furthest back our Family Tree goes, with his marriage to Ann Tricker (m 21.6.1749)
They were in Stowmarket, so in the area, and conceivable for the generation or two beyond where you are looking.
They had 8 children, Robert (Mar 1751), Grace (Nov 1752), Thomas (Oct 1754, died May 1766), Elizabeth (Sep 1757), William (Sep 1758), Anne (Feb 1760), John (Nov 1767), Susan (1770, died 1777).
I descend from John, so our family tree follows down from there, but would be interesting to discover anything about the other branches. And if we could roll back any further than Robert, that would be brilliant.
