I'm trying to find my grandparants wedding certificate but not sure of year, or even if at all they were married, it's all a mystery.  My father was born in 1927 in Dublin and his birth certicate states margaret and james as millar as his parents, her maiden name was byrne. My father never knew his dad so I don't know where to start. apparantly they lived in dominick st when he was born. thank you

My uncle Frederick Charles Laing was born in Dublin 1885/6.
his father was Ebenenzer Laing, a scot and mother Jane Laing was from Staffordshire.

Shortly after the birth the moved to Newcastle -on-Tyne and spent most of their life their.

Can anyone advise as to where I can get more information of the where and when of the birth?

Thanks
