I was born at St Theresa’s in 1970. My mum had a Caesarian and was a rare blood type, so maybe why it was there and not more local, like Kingston. Then again, she was Catholic so that could have been a factor. Don’t think I was adopted but I remember a tale about an Arab prince that was born to a lady in the bed next to my Mum. Unfortunately she’s not around to ask any longer but I do remember going back there for a summer fete run by the nuns. I have a vague memory of a semi circular glass faced building looking down into the grounds. Probably has a condo on it now!
