I am a descendent of James, son of the Thomas Ball mentioned earlier and brothers to Thomas, Joseph and William.
He lived from 1844-1925 and married an Elizabeth Webster of Hull. His kids carried on the travelling lifestyle, but his son on my side stopped in the 1920s due to a back injury. My great granddad being around 10 at the time and the last in my line to have lived the traveller life for any stretch of life. His family settled in North Lincs. I know my great uncle included a photo of them, dated from around 1900 to a Romany Routes feature 2 decades ago.
