Australia / Re: Ageston Plantation Queensland and the Mune family

Hello Flobo54, I am in amazement sitting here reading this right now. It may well be too late for this information to be of use but Gwendoline Edwards was my Great Grandmother who was indeed married to Arthur Bruce Edwards whom my Grandfather was also named after. They did live in Fiji up until around WWII where as a 16 or 17 yo my Grandfather was sent to NZ to live with his cousins and help their mother out after the passing of their Father. They moved back and forth to Fiji over the years and finally settled in Tauranga NZ. Gwendoline Edwards lived with my Grandfather and Grandmother and passed when I was young child. We have Munes in our family and Gwendoline Edwards daughter has told me about Ageston Plantation which is where the Munes and Edwards came together. My Grandfather and Grandmother have passed on but Gwendolines daughter is still living in Tauranga NZ and a wealth of knowledge about family history I'm sure she would be only to happy to share with you. Thank you.
