I'm looking into William Burman Morrall (1880 - 1939)  He was also an art master, rising to Head Master at Exeter's (defunct) Art College.  He was visiting relatives in August 1912.  William travelled by coal coaster.  The coaster sunk in the mouth of the Humber.  William was lucky to grab something to keep him afloat as he couldn't swim.
This does seem to tie in with Harry being in Hull.
