He was reportedly friends with Peter Hasler and Eva Hasler and was living with them.

Peter Hasler died and then he married Eva Hasler.

At some point unknown, he took Peter Hasler's name to become [edit by Spades 12/08/25: name removed - now identified as still living, see Reply#44 below]

Who was Peter Hasler's wife?

Who was Eva Hasler?  What was her maiden name?

Who is Michael Bendit?  How did Michael Bendit become [edit by Spades 12/08/25: name removed - now identified as still living, see Reply#44 below]?
