I am dara ohuiginn, ex Dublin.  My Morhter was a McGahan of Wicklow.  Her father married Anetter Wall.  Annette Wall I believe was the brother of a Thomas Wall and an Eliza Doolittle.    I do not an eliza doolittle but I do see an Elizabeth who might have been the same.   
My mother referred to a Captain James (?) wall who died at sea and I think I have some information on that in an old news clipping.  I will go on a hunt.
Does anyone know more about the McGahans of Wicklow.
I remember visiting Wicklow town with my parents and seeing a very old woman who was fondly known as "Baiiie Kate".   There were many big strpping fellows around as I remembe and the house was on a hil up from the Harbour.  I have visited the harbour a few times since.
So at least one can now trace down from Eliza Doolittle.
