Glamorganshire Completed Lookups / William Thomas married a Rachel Williams,
« on: Thursday 17 July 25 14:04 BST (UK)  »
Thomas tree is sketchy
My grandma Elise Thomas(aka Leslie) as we knew to be her name  till of late   b: Aug 16 1896 in Morriston Glam her parents were William Thomas and Rachel Williams  She also had a brother Tom he was older than her.
Grandma said her mum Rachel passed away when she was two years of age
I don't know much about the Thomas family as for the father William  he  I believe was born in Morriston as well,
Its believed that he was a business owner, (I don't have anything to back that up)
My Grandma was a head nurse in WW1 and rumoured she met her husband at a hospital when she tripped over his tools
William Thomas remarried a woman who had 2 daughters, and they and my grandma all went into nursing
My grandma Elsie Thomas and Grandfather William Henry Phillips were married and did immigrate to Canada in 1926
Any help would be great,
Thanking you in advance
