Many thanks

Can someone please identify William Bruce's occupation?  The cutting is from his daughter's death certificate dated 1898.

Thanks in advance

I have access to the Merthyr Express and found several snippets of Fred Brick's cycling successes in the UK.

Thank you, Sandra, I would appreciate any snippets regarding his cycling events in the US.

A snippet in the Merthyr Express on October 25, 1930, states that Fred Brick, the well-known racing cyclist who moved from Treharris to America a few months ago, is a star performer at the Coney Island Velodrome in New York.

I am researching Fred Brick's cycling career and would appreciate any help.

Many thanks to each for your replies.

It is a section of an 1883 death certificate.

Hi Rosie
You are right, read a piece about the history of Pippbrook House which mentioned it was purchased by Dorking Council in the 1930s and used as Council Offices
