Donegal / Re: STEWART families in Donegal

Is anyone researching the Stewarts in Inishowen, particularly in the Malin/Knockamany area in the far north of Donegal?  I can trace back to Hamilton Stewart who died at 96 in 1886, he is my great^3 grandfather.  He's a dead end for me and for all others I know researching that branch, but I'm always looking for other connections.

Is anyone here looking for Colhouns in Inishowen, particularly in the Malin/Knockglass areas?  I am related to them up there, and I get to my great^3 grandfather William Colhoun born about 1790 and died 1858 and it's a brick wall.  He may have come from farther south, but I have nothing more than what are likely to be mistakes in Ancestry trees going beyond him.

the people i am looking for pre date the official records. Maybe i'l get lucky with church records but nothing yet. Also the name William Colhoun seems to be pretty common around co. Donegal pre 1800.

Do you know if your William Colhoun is connected to the Colhouns in Inishowen?  I have a William Colhoun that married Mary Ann Colhoun who are my great^3 grandparents, and a dead end for me.  I have William dying in Inishowen in 1858, probably born about 1790.  Neither are rare names, but certainly worth asking.

Donegal / Re: Drumholm parish graveyard - lookup wanted please

I'm just coming across this now, I was searching for the handbook that was mentioned previously which I only learned about today.  I'm not sure if anyone is still following this, but I was in Donegal in late 2023 and photographed all of the CofI graveyards I could find in the area, the results were uploaded to FindAGrave and have been mostly transcribed.  The links to them are:

If anyone is still following this I'd love to chat about both the graveyard handbook, as well as McKee relatives as I am also related to McKees from Rossnowlagh.
