I know this is a very old thread, but just wanted to say that the Wartime Memories Project website hasn't closed down at all. I don't know why you are saying it has?

I'm a happy subscriber over a number of years now and have found it so useful, there is a ton of information and they make no secret of the fact that they have a huge backlog of submissions. They publish progress on the site, so you can check if they are up to your submission number yet.
Also the idea of the British Library's web archiving service is to preserve live websites which meet a certain quality criteria. Displaying their archiving badge is something to be proud of as it is a mark of quality. The UK Web Archive is currently not available to view online due to a cyber attack, it's been in the news! There's no need to be so negative about a website not showing up when BL have made it clear that the UK Web archive has been off line for several years and will continue to be for an extended period of time.
