Hello, I'm trying to research my mother's family. Her name was Monica Margaret Hopkins born about 1925, her father’s name was John Joseph Hopkins and listed himself as a farmer, this information was obtained from my mother’s marriage certificate. During wwii my mother worked as a hospital maid at the Three Counties Hospital Arlesey Bedfordshire, England. My great aunty, a Dominican Nun from Tuam, always told me my mother also came from Tuam, Co Galway. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
