Yes unfortunately, the graves were quite large plots and it was quite a small churchyard but no records for the palmers that I was looking for.

Thanks for your help, I hadn’t even had got the obituaries and also 1 for skeffington’s brother and sister. Also death certificates, land purchase, census records but still no success. I have the baptism records of all John skeffington’s children and had hoped because of this and as it was church he was married in that he might’ve been buried there. Unfortunately not but found his so /daughter and uncle just.
Wish I could find out or even narrow down what grave yards Antrim church yard is but thanks for the tip!

Thank you
I hadn’t even heard of this graveyard! It was strange that the death notice didn’t say a specific church and although I’ve been able to find birth and marriage certificates for most of them even the death certificates for some are impossible to track down 🤦‍♀️
Marriages and baptisms are mainly in st cathrine’s coi in killead or the pres church there. I’ll try this 1 and carry on with the hunt🤯🤯🙈
Thanks again

Hi I have been researching my paternal line and although I’ve got a lot of information I’ve hit I brick wall. The palmer family lived in the Killead/ crumlin area but I’ve been unable to find graves for my direct ancestors… Margaret palmer ( 1859-1910) married David Nicholl, John skeffington palmer (1823-1901) married Margaret Moore (1825-1900) and skeffington palmer( 1780-1844)married to Catherine hepwell(1800-1866)

We have found brothers, sisters, children etc buried in st Catherine COI but nothing in Killead pres or crumlin. I have found some inserts in the newsletter and telegraph of internment in Antrim churchyard if anybody would know what graveyard this would be….pre 1900

Hi I’ve seen this and understand it’s an old post but hoping I could maybe get some help
My 4xgreat grandparents are skeffington palmer and Cather hepwell and u have been researching this line and the Nicholl side extensively but I’ve hit a brick wall. I have records following back from myself to the with births, deaths, marriages, censuses but I can’t find a single grave🤷‍♀️I even have death announcements from Belfast newsletters but no palmers or Nicholls seem to have information on their burial sites.
Would anyone have any information or ideas
Thank u🤞😊

I see this is an old post but hoping u might be able to give me some help. I’ve been working extensively on my paternal side of my family and have also traced back to skeffington palmer and Catherine hepwell, I have been able to build a wide collection of birth/deaths/marriages and census ok for the line from myself to them including the wider family of siblings and children of each generations.
I’m happy to give any information you are missing. However I can’t find a single grave. It is very bizarre, I even have newspaper announcements for deaths but can’t find anything for them or the Nicholl line. I’d really appreciate any help🤞
