I have been researching my Rogers/Rodgers ancestors in Horsley and Smalley for decades. My 5x great-grandfather was Samuel Rogers (1760-1842), son of Thomas and Mary Kerry Rogers. He was a whitesmith and Smalley parish clerk from 1800 until his death in 1842. His grandson Samuel, a coal miner from Hasland, emigrated to northeastern Pennsylvania with his family in 1862. I have been to Smalley many times to visit Rogers relatives. I would be interested in connecting with anyone connected to the Rogers/Rodgers family of Smalley.
