Hi  I have just come across your message. My 5th great grandfather was this Jacob Cox, born in Sherborne St John and lived in Basingstoke. His wife was Sarah Foyle and his eldest son was Abraham.Both Jacob and Abraham were tailor/drapers in Basingstoke.

Do you still have the bible?
