Ancestral Family Tree DNA Testing / Y-DNA in Family Tree
« on: Sunday 29 June 25 14:32 BST (UK)  »
I'm looking for people with these specific surnames that know their Y-DNA, I've categorised them by nationality, and I've put in brackets where I believe they came from. In addition, if you've done an autosomal DNA test, you can have your Y-DNA predicted by uploading your raw DNA data into YSEQ Clade Finder.

Ancestral Family Tree DNA Testing / Waterworth Rare surname help
« on: Friday 09 May 25 17:28 BST (UK)  »
This is a long shot, but I'm looking for people with the rare surname Waterworth that have done Y-DNA tests.

I'm R-L21 and my subclade is R-FGC13017.

The oldest Waterworth I've been able to find is John le Waterward living in Rufford, Lancashire in the year 1332. I suspect it's a surviving Brittonic lineage, but you never know with R-L21, it could be Hiberno-Norse, Norman, or something else.
