You certainly have made a few posts on the Kelly family already (in future please provide links to previous connected topics if you really think you must start another thread looking for the same information).
It also helps to give us ALL the relevant details you already have and to post links to sources already found (census, vital records, etc.) whenever possible.

So, here's a link to your FIRST thread about William Kelly (less than four months ago)-

You included LOTS of information on the original post and there were replies giving more information.

This thread looking for death of Mary Kelly (again, replies were posted)-

Hi aghadowey,

Thanks for pointing me back to those threads and sharing the links; that’s really helpful. I’ll make sure to link to my earlier posts and include all the details I’ve already found going forward so it’s easier for everyone to follow along.

I’m still trying to piece together as much as I can, and I really value the information that’s already been shared. Hopefully keeping everything connected will make the search clearer for everyone.

Appreciate your time,

Ireland / Family of William Kelly
« on: Tuesday 02 September 25 13:58 BST (UK)  »
Hi,

I have made a few posts on the family of these individuals before, but I am just looking for extra help in my research. I am looking to piece things together. So, William Kelly married Anne Guidera on the 3rd of July 1893. William's father was listed as Thomas Kelly (dead), and on another version of the marriage record, the parish one, I believe, his mother is listed as Mary Kelly.

I will attach as much as I can of the records. I found a civil registration for a William Kelly born in September 1866 with Mary Kelly listed as the mother but no Thomas. I have struggled to find both the marriage record for Thomas and Mary and the record of Mary's death. I found a death record for a Thomas Kelly who passed in June 1888 in either Moonbaun or Newtown. I am not 100% sure what Mary's maiden name may have been. I know William had many children and was not present in the 1901 census but was during 1911; the family lived in Shannon Street.

I don't think I'm wrong about certain details, like Thomas' death record. I couldn't find a suitable candidate for my Mary Kelly in the 1901 Census, so I presume she had passed by then. William passed on 4 July 1936.

Let me know if there are any other records or info you would like me to provide, and I will give them if I can! There may be additional info that I have forgotten to include.  :)

Thank you for any help in advance!

I don’t see it here
https://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0718?locale=en

Apparently it was in Mountrath 1st Feb, 1859. Thomas Kelly and Mary Hurly. William may not have been born in 1866 it could be wrong but that is what his grave says.

Do you have any other children for Thomas and Mary?
Where do you have that marriage in 1859?
I can’t find it but if they married then, you would think there would be other children before William.

I can’t see his birth in 1866 either.
There is one in the records but there is no father’s name.

Hi,

Apparently it was on RootsIreland. The marriage. Unfortunately I am not sure what siblings William had.

Thomas' death cert

address looks like Newtown to me, happy to be corrected.

I thought it was Moonbawn, but maybe I was wrong.

Is she on the Irish 1901 census?

Hi,

I haven't found her so far. I know William and Anne lived in Shannon Street in Mountrath.

Hi,

I am looking for some help seeking the death of Mary Kelly (Hurly), she was the wife of Thomas Kelly. Thomas died in June 1888 in Mountmellick. His address was Moonbawn. Their son William married in 1893 to Anne Guidera. Thomas had passed by then, but I think Mary was still alive. I believe Mary's maiden name to have been Hurly as their was a marriage for a Thomas Kelly to a Mary Hurly in Mountrath on 1st Feb 1859 with William being born in 1866 apparently. Please let me know if I am wrong. If you need any other info please ask!

Any help is greatly appreciated. I am struggling to find her on IrishGenealogy and just want help making sure I have found the right person!

Thank you!

Mary Caden's father was Michael Caden, who died on 28th September, 1872, if I am not mistaken....

Michael Caden died on 28 September 1874. The informant was a Sabina Caden.

That is the correct date, thank you, my apoligies.  :)

Is this the marriage you have for Thomas Irwin and Mary Caden - in Moygownagh chapel?
