US Completed Requests / Re: westerman, salt lake city

thank you both for that information. In 1991 they were living in Plumstead, so I  think this is probably them in 1901. I had no luck tracing them in 1901-must have missed the obvious. at least mystery solved. :)

US Completed Requests / westerman, salt lake city
« on: Saturday 20 June 09 14:23 BST (UK)  »
i am new to this rootschat board, but wonder whether anyone out there could check for Jonathan Westerman b.1858 whitkirk, yorkshire ,england\;his wife EleanorB 1857 in york and 2 children thomas b. 1886, albert b. 1887. I cannot find them in England in 1901. They will have left after the 1891 census, moving from London. Salt Lake City is a guess, as there had been another Westerman from the same village moving there in the late 1700s earliy 1800s. Or could anyone check passenger list.

Any help would be much appreciated as I have come to a dead end!

Thanks

Hoyle :)

Yorkshire (West Riding) Lookup Requests / siddall/wild 1820s
« on: Thursday 26 March 09 17:45 GMT (UK)  »
I am trying to find the birth of Elizabeth Siddall b about 1839 ? in Sheffield. In 1851 she is living with John and Sarah Wild nee Siddall. I don't know whether she is Sarah's illegitimate daughter. I cannot find her on the 1841, nor can I find Sarah. There is a birth record for an Elizabeth in Dec Q of 1839.John and Sarah were married in 1842.

Any help would be appreciated. All the records seem to be linked to Cathedral St Peter, Sheffield.  :-\

I have info in some things sent to me.
I have a Richard Kettlewell b 21/07/1840 Whixley, m Mary ann  Kendall 12/09/1871. Richard's parents were Thomas kettlewell and Jane Turner.
There are lots of Kettlewell's around Whixley-I have been to most of the Churches.
I am researching KETTLEWELL also.

Hope this is some help.

I noticed this thread about burials. Could i possibly ask a lookup for
Benjamin Wright 1893?
Ruth Wright  1889?
George Birkinshaw pre 1881, but post1871, possibly from Nether Hoyland.  He could be george birkinshaw woodcock.
Also Benjamin Wright 1889.
sorry I don't know Barnsley at all and am trying to link Woodcock, wright ,birkinshaw.

Many Thanks
