Apologies to SKB for not acknowledging you properly.  We had guessed that Nall might be mistranscribed as Hall, but had not thought of looking at Niell.  Many thanks for finding it.
Best Wishes,

Wonderful, Wonderful!  Many thanks to Celia and Dave for unblocking this family for us.  We know this is the correct family as we have the Pear St address on a possible death, which we have been unable to confirm.  The family mistranscribed as NEILL contains our Sarah Ann - my (john's) great-grandmother.
We really appreciate your help - we couldn't have done this from a distance or without the local knowledge.
Best Wishes, 2 Rhodes/John & Kay

First of all thank you to Dave for looking up Nalls for me.  Elizabeth aged 18, silkwinder, living with Mary Honihouse (?), is the only Nall we have found so far in Salford in 1851. We have no evidence that this Elizabeth is part of our family, as we cannot link her in any way.  I would be very pleased to have your info about the other Nalls you have found in 1851.  Our Nalls were in Sheffield in 1841, but we have a Sarah Ann born in Salford in 1845 - it is her and her parents Alfred and Ann we are trying to locate.  Thank you also Celia for your offer of more information - always welcome!

Hi Celia
Thanks for your suggestion but the problem here is that Salford 1851 census records were badly water damaged and we haven't been able to locate our Nalls though we know they were living in the middle of Salford. We hoped that there might be someone out there who had some pieces in the same puzzle that would help us find a date or place of birth.

I am looking for Thomas Henry Ashforth who married Elizabeth Hall in the 1820s. Does anyone have any information that would help me find anything about him?

Essex Completed Lookup Requests / EDWARDS Dagenham area pre 1837

I am searching for Edwards ancestors in the Dagenham area, particularly William Edwards who married Hannah? and whose children included John (born about 1824) and Mary Anne (born Nov 1829) both of whom are in my family tree. Any information would be really helpful.
