Eliza Christian - there is a burial for Elizabeth Gander, a three year old Feb 6, 1820 in Brighton. Could this be Eliza?  Address Laurel Place, same address as John Gandey 's death 1821.

I was on Andy's website, searching for ancestors and had the opportunity of being in touch with Andy by email.   He was very friendly and knowledgeable and also sent me a list of burials in Dursley.  A huge help, especially when doing research from afar.   Carole

You may be able to connect all Gandeys from 1851 census with this info:  Charles Gandey and Sarah married Feb 1808 in Portsea, Hampshire.  Children baptised in Portsmouth, St. Thomas, Hamps are: Charles 1808, William 1811 and Eliza Christian 1816.  Next baptisms are in Brighton:  John 1820-21, Elizabeth 1822-27, Thomas 1825-1910; 1827 Catherine Mary, 1832 George and 1834 Frances Sarah.

Hi Ashe

The parents of Thomas Gandey were Charles Gandey and Sarah Kerry (or Hurrey) Charles died in Brighton July 11, 1847 and Sarah died September 16, 1850 (not 1860)
