Caernarvonshire / Re: Brunswick Vaults, Upper Bangor 1879-80
« on: Tuesday 01 April 25 20:39 BST (UK) »Belle Vue is still there
Patricks Bar may have been Four Crosses
The Greek restaurant was where the arch for the stables were accessed through of The Manchester Arms
The Brunswick Vaults were opposite.
Patrick's was the Menai Vaults and even earlier was the Menai Stores and is labelled as such on the 1899 Town Plan. In 1901 it was being run by Scotsman Gregor Grant.
The Four Crosses must have been on the same side of Holyhead Road as the Belle View as the two sides were in different enumeration districts in 1901.
