Yes, that's the father and son from first marriage. Jane died less than a month after Edward was born. There's a really useful Beck family tree (of sorts) at pennyghael.org/Beck.pdf

The sisters were Suffragettes who were quite renowned local figures in our village. Trying to give them the acknowledgement they deserve!

From what we can figure out, none of the siblings had any children but they did stay close to extended family.

That's unusual isn't it with all those children.

Really unusual - I think George married a Caroline Lucy Jackson, daughter of Rev Thomas Jackson (Wesleyan) and died in 1917. I don't think they had children but the Beck sisters gave money in their will to the nieces and nephews of George and Caroline.

The only one I can't account for is the George age 8 in 1851.  He isn't with the family in 1861 so may have died or left home.

Hi Derrick,
My colleague and I are currently writing a book/pamphlet on the sisters, Edith and Ellen. From what we can figure out, none of the siblings had any children but they did stay close to extended family. When Susannah died (not long before Marcus) the family appear to leave Isleworth. Let me know if you'd like to know more. Would be interested to hear your angle on the family.

Best wishes
Caroline
