Family History Beginners Board / Re: Help Finding Hamilton Street, St Michaels, sub district St Georges, Manchester

I’ve also noticed that street names could vary a lot – they were often changed or moved to different places. Maybe the Hamilton Street from that time is a completely different location than what we see on the maps now? 
Does anyone else have a clue or another source to confirm this?
Btw, it’s great that we can share map links here – I discovered that the "side by side" view is a total game changer! Thanks, Heywood, for pointing that out

Your map is correct, I think. You can see ‘TON’ , crossing Collyhurst Street and Charlton Street.
Looking at the other maps, they are showing a different Hamilton Street.
