Hi, I'm new on here too, but have found this discussion very interesting... I'm a direct descendant of John and Mary as well also through their son Thomas, and his daughter Janet. I have found a baptism record for William Little in ScotlandsPeople dated 18/3/1806 in Middlebie with the parents listed as William Little and Hannah Harkness. William Little Jnr died in 1872 in Half Morton I believe (also from ScotlandsPeople).

Has anyone managed to get much further back with John Harkness and Mary Little's grandparents?? I'm really banging my head off a wall!!!
