Wow!  Yes, this is so helpful Wexflyer!  Thank you!!! And yes, that is the Michael Reilly (O'Reilly) that I saw in Hacketstown with his 4 children born there. I had assumed that after he married Mary Byrne that he moved towards Wicklow because she was from there, I think.  I had heard that the Byrnes are a big family in Wicklow. Then Michael and Mary immigrated from Wicklow.  I have the birth information of Michael Reilly (O'Reilly) from a local Catholic cemetery in St. Louis where his son, Michael Byrne O'Reilly, had him buried there and erected a tombstone with this info on it "Camolin Parish, Ferns, County Wexford, Ireland", but that could be wrong.  It is good to know what you said about Camolin Parish coming later. Also, very interesting about the marriage to Honora Byrne...I do not see that Mary Byrne had a sister of that name, but maybe it was a cousin. Mary Byrne was born in "Bernagh, Baltinglass, County Wicklow, Ireland" and baptised there by a famous bishop named James Doyle (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Warren_Doyle).

HI, Nick--thank you for all your posts and information on Wexford!  My family is planning a visit to Wexford next year and we are hoping to find out more information/genealogy about our O'Reilly family. My great, great grandfather, Michael O'Reilly, was born in 25 September 1807 in Camolin Parish, Ferns, County Wexford. He later moved to Wicklow, married a Mary Byrne, and then they and their 4 children immigrated to St. Louis, MO in USA in 1848 during the famine. I was told by my grandfather that no one on his immigration ship died on the 7+ week trip over to USA, which was unusual, so I wonder if they were a more fortunate family of means that was able to secure better passage. They settled in St. Louis which I think was more favorable to the Irish in 1848 than the east coast of USA.  He was a shoemaker. I am hoping to find out more information about who his parents and siblings were in Wexford.  My grandfather also told us that they had originated in County Cavan, but I do not know how they got to Wexford.  Any guidance would be appreciated so we can know more before our family trip to Wexford!  Thank you!
