I have just stumbled across this website whilst trying to research my dad’s side of the family. He was John Hart, his father was William Hart and his grandad was John Hart, both were born at Sink Cottage in Bannockburn. My great grandad was killed in action in 1915, his wife was Janet Stevenson ( she remarried and we knew her as Granny Wilson) My grandad William was one of 3 siblings, the others were Hugh and Mary.
