If I understand correctly you are looking for the death and grave of Mary Farnan

Born 1886

1911

Are you sure she never married or is this the same Mary who married Richard Walsh?

Thank you Sinann, yes this is the same Mary Farnan who married Richard Walsh in 1921:

As Walsh name is quite numerous you would need to give some dates , even approximate dates should help.

He was boarding with the Doolans on Mill Street Thomastown while working as a labourer in the Pilsworth mills in 1901 (age 35) and 1911 (age 48) according to the census

His father was a Michael Walsh according to the marriage record to Mary Farnan in 1921 and father was deceased at this time. He is living on The Mall at this time until his death in 1939

That's all the definite information I have on him so any help appreciated.
Thanks

Many thanks for the replies.

I'm trying to trace a Mary Farnan from Knockroe born in 1886 to John Farnan and Catherine Downey I believe. However she is not the Mary Farnan buried in Dunmore age 77 as she was 86 when she died and family believe she is buried in Thomastown.
So maybe she is not a daughter of John & Catherine???

An old thread now I know but trying to trace a relative by the name of Richard Walsh who lived on the Mall and worked as a labourer in the mill.

He had two daughters with his wife Mary but don't know where he came from or where he was buried or who his parents or siblings were.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks  :)

Hi there,

I realise this thread is years old but I'm hoping there is still some Farnan relatives on this and might see this message.

I'm trying to trace my great-grandmother who is related to the Knockroe Farnans if anyone could help that would be great!

There are so many Farnans in that Ballyragget/Castlecomer area and with the same names that it gets very confusing.

Here's hoping someone can help  :)
*fingers crossed*
