Hi Paul.
I think she would probably be a servant somewhere.

Or married in 1861?  This was the only 'Harriett' born around that time in Stanground that I found.

But no guarantees!   ;D

Try this, when searching the census just put the forename in and leave the surname blank. Put the place of birth in, you should get a load of 'Harrietts'. then check the place of birth.      ..... then keep your fingers crossed.

Good hunting.

Hi,

I found this marriage on the IGI:

MELESENTE TALLACKE / JOHN GLAWEN
marriage, 06 Nov 1597, St Agnes, nr Truro, Cornwall

Unfortunately no sign of baptism/parents, although the different spelling may help your search.

Hi Victoria,

Can't find a JOHN of Whitehaven, however I found these and I'm not sure if I'm not muddying the waters.  ;D

There's also an Isaac CELBECK and family in the 1841 census, also born Whitehaven but he's a Stonemason, could he be Esaw's brother (religious family?)

Address: Parton,
Reg Dist. Whitehaven

Hope it helps.

Hi Andrea,

Please don't think I was being sneaky by amending my post, you had'nt posted at the time I did it!   ...honest!  ::)

Y'know I've got a bloke in my 'tree' who was born in THREE different places. Perhaps he suffered from amnesia or something!   ;D

Cheers for now and good hunting.

Hi Rosie,

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, I hope you have a nice day.

Just a tip, don't take any info you are given 'as read' - try to check it out yourself before putting it in your 'tree'.

Bye for now,
