Hello, i hope someone is still researching the Barry family and might have some insights for me.  Before he died, my dad told me that his half brother, James Hughes married Pauline Barry in 1940 just before he set sail in a merchant ship that was torpedoed off the coast of Donegal.  My grandfather wasn't happy because it meant, Jimmy's pension went to his new wife.  I've since found a document transferring Jimmy's property in Omagh into the name Minnie Hughes. I haven't found any record of a marriage to either sister.  Does anyone have any ideas?  Thanks
