Hi ...Looking for info on Patrick Mcguire 's parents ,Patrick was born in Ireland between 1877 and 1880(I have some saying he was born 1877 others saying 1880 so not sure)he eventually went to Scotland and married Fanny Harkins born 1879,they went on to have 4 sons Arthur(B-1908),William(B-1910),Peter(B-1906) and Patrick(B-1911) and 1 daughter Margaret(B-1913)all born in Scotland could have had more but it's all I can find so far, from what i can gather his parents were maybe born 1849(Father) and 1847(Mother) in Ireland but hitting a brick wall with their names and where in Ireland they were born. Fanny's parents were Daniel Harkins(1851-1910) and Margaret McBride(1852-1908) both Scottish, it's Patricks side I am trying to trace and also the place in Ireland Patrick was born again have some saying Donegal others Dublin and also where in Scotland Patrick is burried any info and of where i can get info is much appreciated Thanks

Can someone please help with a place of birth. William McGovern b c1822 m Alice Berry b c 1823 shows his birthplace as Bsv France. I am at a loss, could it be Military? Father Patrick, Mother Elizabeth Dolan. There is another child to Patrick, Mary Cairney c1815, born in France. Any ideas please?
Hi.. William's Father Patrick was serving in France hence why he was born in France, William's Mother was Elizabeth Dolan ,both his parents were Irish ,William's Mother Alice's parents were James Berry and Margaret Burt again both Irish ,William and Alice were married in 1842 in Killanny(Alice was born in Killanny),William and Alice had a son called Patrick born in Co Monaghan who married a Scottish woman called Isabella Hutchison,Patrick William's son at some point added Berry to his name and changed his name to Peter (Patrick) Berry Mcgovern he had a daughter called Sydney (Again name change)as she was called Sydney McGovern Berry (My Great Grand Mother)Sydney Married Bernard(Barney) Innes in Scotland and went on to have my Grandmother Alice and other Children hope that helps .
