We have a possible Barney O Callaghan who married Alice Connolly, who would have been a niece of Mary Anne Gray (Connolly)...

Thank you both!
I now have solved the name issues and gone back another generation with your help.
Would either of you know when the Muckians moved to Dundalk?
thanks again

I am looking to see if anyone has any information on Sarah Muckian who married Bernard Gray in Dundalk, 1867. Her father's name is not clear on their marriage record.
many thanks

Hi Spuncy,
I think we may be related!
My great granny -Esther Coyne b.1885 (parents Esther Keegan/Coyne & Peter Coyne) married Michael Gilmartin in Sligo in 1909. They moved to Sligo sometime between 1901 (when they were in Athlone) and 1909. I take it they moved with work on the railways. Peter Coyne died in Killeshandra, Co. Cavan in 1923 and Esther Coyne (senior) died in Dublin in 1948. All this seems to match with your excellent detective work?
