Sorry to jump into an old chat but I've only just found RootsChat and only just found my Pointon family in Norton. if anyone descended from William Maere 1520 previously chatting here or more recently John Pointon 1621 chatted about in this thread is on ancestry/myheritage or has a well researched tree of these lines I'd love to hear from you.
