Please excuse if I have asked this before.  I am trying to find a birth record of a George Walters.  Son of John Thomas Walters and Elizabeth Morgan.  There is a suggestion on Ancestry that he was born 27th February 1883 in Llantrisant but I can't find a birth record on GRO with Morgan as the mother living in Wales.  There is one for Walsall.  There is also another record for that name with Arnold as the mothers surname but that was in Devon.  (Arnold was Elizabeth's mother maiden name)                                                                                                                                   The suggestion on Ancestry says it is from a letter (Joyce Walters).  Joyce was George's daughter George had a brother Richard Morgan Walters born 29th May 1879 Llantrisant in the district of Neath (my grandfather).  George Walters married Agnes James and emigrated to Australia.  His death record apparently states that Sarah Jane Woodward was his mother (His step mother).  He died in Kurri Kurri New South Wales.

Again apologies if I have post this before but I can't find original.

Hello People.  I'm trying to find a death record of Elizabeth May Harris B28/11/1909 Dowlais, Merthyr Tydfil.  Daughter of Edward Rees Harris and Edith May Harris (nee Scully).
She married John Thomas "George" Walters (known as George). They married in 1931.
John Thomas George Walters died 1965 in Hengoed.  They had two children Maureen and Roy Walters.  It is suggested on Ancestry that she died in 2007 at Milbrook Residential Home in Caerphilly which would make her 98yo.  However, I can't find a record of that on GRO UK .
Perhaps she remarried - I don't know.
Any ideas??  Regards Elaine (Australia)

Hello People
I am trying to find a possible marriage certificate and a death certificate.  His birth certificate states he was born 28.02.1889 Cwm yr Allt to William and Noami Rees.  In 1891 he is with family at 14 Roadside Cottage, Bedwelty.  In 1901 and 1911 he is with family at Smith Arms Inn, Pengam.  He served in WW1 from 1913-1914.  Service No. 1745.  He was medically discharged.  Address on discharge - Mother Naomi Rees, White Hart Inn, Bluith.  I can't find him in the 1921 census or 1939 register.  Possibly he died between 1914 and 1921 but i can't confirm that.  Would appreciate any ideas.

Thank you in advance.  Elaine (Australia)

Daisy Petal.  Thank you for the Newspaper clipping.  Sadly, domestic violence happened back then too. Distressing situation for her to be in.  Good for her for putting an end to the situation.

Ladyhawk.  I was wondering the same thing for the registration in 1918

Ive queried with the GRO UK regarding a divorce record for the couple.

Thank you to all involved with your answers.  I have corrected the original post to Samuel Edgar Collins.  Thanks for pointing that out.

Regards Elaine (Australia)
