Lucy junior was engaged to a US marine in 1943

Did the marriage go ahead?  If so, Have you found her in the USA in 1950 census?
found lucy segedin in tauranga, seems like a fable as she never went to america

Hello granny lukeis

.....never knew where the hubby died as he just vanished

No, he didn't vanish  ;D   ... the information supplied here in Reply 10  by craigt (in 2012), is for the Robert EUNSON whose wife was Margaret.    Craig has also given the link to the Probate record for Robert EUNSON which confirms his wife's name and that he died on 12 June 1913.

His death notice here >

https://paperspast.natlib.govt.nz/newspapers/MS19130628.2.3
( "Bunnythorpe" is the word that is partly obscured in the notice. )

Another resource shows that his death was registered at Hamilton, ... haven't as yet found a burial or cremation record (maybe the unusual surname has been spelled incorrectly ?      I'll look further.)

hi what i meant was Robert did vanish from being with Margaret his wife & death wasn't noticed on ancestry etc,she appears later on in Auckland with her son & his family as a widow with no clear indication of where Robert had got to etc

Hi I'm connected to Robert eunson as my x2 great grandfather James Cameron was his step son, Margaret Christie came with her son & Robert about 1901 or so ,she was married to a job Stewart who died before she married eunson but they came from Aberdeenshire, they settled in manawatu, Margaret ended up in Auckland when her son & daughter in law Dorothy moved from the manawatu,Margaret is buried in Auckland in 1944 with robert dying i believe in 1930 outside of Auckland, hes from oakney island or something outside of mainlland Scotland originally

Finding out what happened to Annie Eliza wood my x2 great grandfather's older sister has given me solace & broken down one of my longest standing brick walls,it's not often that many of us break down a tricky brick wall, her grave is on findagrave but her was hidden by the overgrowth so doesn't show on findagrave but does in photos taken from within the cemetery of her family headstone,it's a good feeling to finally know what happened to Annie Eliza even if there are blanks in her life story it is solace to have closure

update* so after alot of digging & i mean alot of digging, thanks in part to a friend of mine shirley based in england, we collectively found annie eliza wood died in 1968 in Guernsey aged 93 she doesn't come up on find a grave but is buried in COE cemetery st johns in guernsey with younger sister & parents, her name was hidden on the headstone due to the sheer volume of overgrowth but shirley had a guernsey based friend finding annie eliza buried in st johns cemetery with her parents & sister, overwhelming relief to finally have closure on what happened to her

Trish yes the 1930s thing makes extremely difficult as they dint note the names of the spouse etc, we've always had a issue with 1930 because one where was he in the electoral rolls pre 1930 etc,1913 makes more sense & thanks to the spouse is him
