Hi all!
I'm hoping someone can help me?
I am trying to trace my family (I'm finding my Irish side increasingly difficult!
I have managed to trace my GGG grandfather to Thomas O’Neill 1796 born in Carlow, joined the army in 1816 and then I don’t have any trace of them until 1861 in England.
Thomas went on to marry Julia, however I'm not sure when or where (I assume before they moved to England)
I know he had a son John O’Neill born 1828, also in Ireland but I don’t know where. John went on to marry Elizabeth Cain who was also Irish.
But I am really struggling to find anything more than that, I can’t find any birth records or anything other than when Thomas joined the army 🤷♀️
Does anyone have anything in their trees?
