Hi - is this thread still active? I am looking for any information on an Abraham Else 1751 - 1828 his father was William Else/Elce (1716 - 1768) and mother Rachel Buckley (1715-1810). Also anything about their daughter Rachel Else (1743-1785 I believe she died in childbirth - this is my 5th GGM).
I am particularly interested in occupations of any of the family and a son of Abraham's and his wife Sarah Darling called David. I think Abraham may have worked on the Chesterfield Canal in the 1770s.
Any information will be useful and I have noted earlier in the thread their ancestors going back to Richard Else.
