John Jones of Newtown Saunders & Mary Disney Jones had a daughter named Jane Jones.
William Little of Spa Hill, Cty Carlow & Jane Keppel had a son named Thomas Little.
Thomas Little and Jane Jones married in 1837. I believe Thomas eventually moved to Liverpool.
William Little had a brother, a Thomas Little of Kilkenny b. 1837. Thomas was a land agent, a gauger, and was involved in the Mt. Eagle Distillery and Flour Mill operation just outside of Kilkenny. He was a party to an 1848 deed with John Jones & Mary Disney Jones - a land transaction involving a parcel in Bagnalstown. I don't fully understand the deed.
I believe the latter Thomas Little's family was in the Kilkenny area since at least 1798, so they may have been acquainted with Mary Disney's family. For certain, Thomas Little's sister married a John Jones of Whitefort House, Holycross, Thurles, Cty Tipperary. I don't know if this is yet another connection to the same Jones family or if they are entirely unrelated.
I would love to see the photo of the John Jones and Mary Disney Jones gravestone. The images are not appearing in the chat.
