You may never see this given how long ago your post was. I stumbled across it looking at other related local history in my area. I live very close to Oakhurst Farm, Alfold Bars, West Sussex. Sounds as if it is the same one you are or were searching for. Alfold Bars is a small hamlet on the border of Sussex/Surrey. There's a great pub, a scattering of houses, woods and fields. You can walk past Oakhurst Farm as the border path runs right by it. The farm has it's own website with some history and photographs included https://www.oakhurstfarm.co.uk/history.html.
