Hi, Hugh Taylor, Highland Light Infantry was my uncle. i know he was killed on 18th January 1945. That he is buried at Sittard.
I am researching when he volunteered for the HLI. I think it was around June 1944.
How long his basic training would have been.
When and where his division left the Uk.
I believe they landed at Ostend.
Any information of his regiments battles and where he was killed would be her;pful.
