Wiltshire Lookup Requests / Re: Baptism of Elizabeth BANKS B abt 1820 in Wiltshire

Good day,
I am new to this site. I read with much interest the information on the Banks (family name) in Wiltshire. I have been working on our family's ancestral research for about 5 years. My late mother, Madeline Mavis Logan (born Banks), was a descendant of Lacock's William Banks. William Banks was a British settler to the Cape of Good Hope in 1820, in what was then known as Albany.

My family research revealed that William Banks was baptized in the Saint Cyriac church in Lacock on September 24, 1797 (the date is unconfirmed). On December 24, 1816, he wed Sarah Edwards in the same church (I have a copy of their marriage certificate). The occupation of William Banks was listed as a basket maker.
I live in Cape Town and visited Wiltshire in August 2023 for my son and his fiance's wedding, so visiting Lacock, particularly the St Cyriac church, was of particular interest to me. Lacock's beauty and history captivated me, and I was eager to learn more.
Unfortunately, my research only goes back to His father and mother, Edward and Ann Banks (I don't know what her maiden name was).

I am hoping by posting this that I can make contact with someone to facilitate further ancestral research.
