Hi Liam,
I can’t find a marriage certificate for Philip and Fanny either but I have them both named on the baptism certificates for their two children, John McDaid (born 1878 ) and his sister Mary (born 1878).At his death in1881,Fanny was then referred to as his Widow McDaid.She is then on the census forms of 1901 and 1911 as Fanny McDaid as living with her son John. Just joined this site.My great great grandparents were Philip McDaid and Fanny Sweeney,in 1911 she was living with her son my great grandfather John McDaid and his family in or around Druminor,near Buncrana.
