You need to check yourself if the information on that site is correct, I just looked at the two Margaret's and Richard's death.
The Margaret baptism's are correct
1806 https://registers.nli.ie/registers/vtls000633302#page/54/mode/1up right hand page
1809 https://registers.nli.ie/registers/vtls000633303#page/9/mode/1up left hand page
1873 death of Richard gives his age as 60
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/deaths_returns/deaths_1873/020697/7261638.pdf (you need to sign in and prove your not a robot) which if the age is correct would give him a later birth year, death ages are often incorrect. The quality of the image is terrible, not sure who the informant was.
Lot more checks needed on the information from that site.

The site was made and is run by a relation of my grandmother. He's been working on it for years. She's told me that he's travelled around researching his family tree and has reached out to relations around the world. He talked with her to ask about her side of the family. So I think some of the information he's put in the tree has been from family knowledge as well as from old letters and things. Not everything on that site can be checked.

I understand that it's important not to take everything at face value. As you said, even the records have misinformation. To be honest I don't trust anything in my family tree haha

I don't have any of that information, I'm sorry :(

Their first child was actually born 1796. I learned of her from this website

Thank you for the response.

Those are the years I am confident she and George had children so they would have been married before 1803.

Thank you for the link. A lot of my ancestors were from Athy so hopefully I can find something of use.

Australia Lookups completed / Re: Arrival in Queensland Help - HANIFY
« on: Wednesday 09 August 23 23:51 BST (UK)  »
Just wanted to jump in with my knowledge of the NZ Hanify's who were mentioned previously. Hugo Page Hanify is the grandson of Michael John Page Hanify and Annie Maria Josepha Lane. Michael Hanify moved from Galway to Australia in 1857 and Annie Lane from Newcastle, and they married in 1858 in Victoria, Australia.
Their son Hugo James Haren Page Hanify, born in St Kilda, Victoria, moved to NZ.
While they may be related to your Hanify's from back in Ireland, they're not connected down under.

I'm looking for the parents of my 4th great grandmother Catherine Coyne, who married George Aldridge and had a family in Athy, County Kildare, Ireland between about 1803-1809

Kildare / Re: Gleesons and Aldridges

Hi there. George Aldridge's brother James was my great great grandfather. He married Mary Catherine O`Connor.

I'm currently looking through the forum for more posts about the Kildare Aldridge's. Specifically, Athy. If anyone could point me to information that would be super helpful.

Wexford / Re: Sinnott family in Wexford
« on: Tuesday 08 August 23 00:40 BST (UK)  »
Hello, I'm new here. Not certain if I'm supposed to start a new thread or continue on with this current one.

I'm looking for information on the Sinnott family in Wexford but I'm needing details further back than has been discussed here.

Does anyone know anything about
Richard Sinnott B:Abt. 1680 married Joan Las˙ B:Abt. 1682

Or anything about the family from around that time?
