Sorry I don't have anything useful to input, but as a Demaine still living in the Skipton area, I just wanted to say hi to some potential relatives here!

My dad was born over Halifax way but I know that our line came from Pateley Bridge/Bolton Abbey area. My brothers and I are still nearby the same area.

We know we came to this area from France, recently it was theorised that perhaps Angers is where we hail from! Hoping to find more information on this soon.
