I'm sorry for replying such a long time after your original post, but I suspended my research due to family problems and only just resumed.

I've traced my family, Fisher, from Kingham to Whatcote and finally reaching Birmingham. My grandfather left Whatcote around 1880 after his father remarried and settled in Deritend Birmingham.

Sorry I'm late to the party, but thanks for sharing the information. I could not get past James Fisher jnr in my research, even visit to Kingham and Whatcote did not yield any information so very gratefull for your insight.
